Boys & Girls Club Steps
Overview
In early spring 2009 Betsy Schulz designed a welcome and donor recognition sign for the entry of the new wellness center of the Boys and Girls Club of San Dieguito. To save space and create a unique landscape element, sculpted tiles were mounted onto the step risers. This was a perfect use of the space for a very visible and beautifully hand-crafted signage mural. As part of the overall project, the community was invited to participate in a small workshop to make tiles for the Center
